Topper Reid - Lessons Learned About Sunday School

Topper served as a Minister of Education for 28 years, five churches in Alabama, including Hunter Street Baptist Church. He is a graduate of Samford University and Southern Seminary. Topper is nationally recognized as a frequent writer, seminar leader, and serves as a Contract Trainer for the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions. Topper previously served as the Director of Church Development for Myrick, Gurosky, and Associates (MG&A) for six years and currently serves as a church strategist for Unlimited Partnerships. He is an active member of DNA and has served as a board member for Disciple Leader Network (DLN). He and his wife Diane have three grown, married, children and eight grandchildren. They live in Hoover, where they are members of Hunter Street Baptist Church.


Robert Mullins - Lessons Learned About Discipleship

Robert has over 34 years of ministry experience serving in the local church and denominational work. He is a graduate of Mississippi College, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and has a doctorate from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. While serving as a pastor Robert has been widely recognized as a disciple-making pastor and currently teaches disciple-making for the Samford University Ministry Training Institute. Robert is currently the Executive Director for the Madison Baptist Association in Huntsville. He and his wife Pam have two adult sons that are both married and one grandson.


Steve Layton - Lessons Learned About Church Ministry

Steve has 43 years of ministry experience, having served seven different churches across Alabama and Tennessee. He has also served as the Lifeway Church Consultant for Alabama, and served as a State Missionary in the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions Office of Sunday School and Discipleship. He currently serves as the Discipleship Pastor at Double Oak Community Church in Birmingham and teaches at the NOBTS Extension Center in Birmingham. Steve is a graduate of Samford University and holds two degrees from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is passionate about making disciples that make disciples. Both Steve and his wife Melinda both lost their first spouses to cancer. Their blended family includes five children and six grandchildren.
